Message	I ran and RACED my built motor for 3 years before it threw a rod out the side from too aggressive tuning. I would stay I had 80K+ miles on it and hundreds of 1/4 mile pass's. How long it lasts will greatly depend on tuning, level of abuse and maintenance. I would say if a person had a stock motor car that lasted 200K miles and that same person drove the exact same way with the exact same maintenance done with a built motor it would probably last 180-190K.
